The Designedge Fashion Incubator will continue it’s commitment to promoting Australian fashion at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week at the end of this month. Designedge will exhibit eight Australian designers, exposing them to some of the most prestigious national and international buyers, media delegates and fashion insiders.

Designedge will represent the following designers at RAFW…
Lucy Bromell for Bromelli (textile design)
Chitra Mangma for Chitra’s Closet (ready-to-wear)
Jess Salter for Emobi (swimwear)
Josua Andreas (eveningwear)
Karla Reyes for KV Reyes (ready-to-wear)
Lenore Dembski for Paperbark Woman (indigenous design)
Rashmi Bagga for Rush Me (ready-to-wear)
Sukimoo (international designers)

The group of emerging and established designers hail from across the globe, swimwear label Emobi was born in the urban streets of London while the designs of Paperbark Woman were created among the dusty plains of the Northern Territory.  Designedge has provided these designers with the opportunity to showcase their work at Australia’s most influential fashion event.

The Designedge Fashion Incubator (WA) showcases local emerging and established designers and is the largest fashion network operating in the country. In 2007 the Incubator will expand to include national and international designers planning to establish themselves in WA.

Viewing of labels at the Designedge Fashion Incubator Showroom can be arranged by appointment with Carol Hanlon (0417 963 231) or Margaret Farrell (0403 794 445). Alternatively stop by Stand 53 @ The Source, Rosemount Australian Fashion Week to view the collections, the event runs from the 30th April – 4th May.
